Your Role

As a Business Banking Relationship Manager, your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across various industries. You'll leverage your extensive network and expertise to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and differentiation, driving revenue expansion and deposit growth for our Business Banking division.

You'll work closely with our Commercial Banking team to develop and implement targeted strategies that cater to the unique needs of our mid-sized business clients. Your role demands excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to harness client relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Growing the deposit book through sourcing, acquiring, and onboarding new business customers
  • Expanding deposit-led relationships into full transaction banking relationships
  • Becoming an advocate for OakNorth's brand, representing us at industry events, and building relationships with external introducers
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the business banking sector
  • Cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with Key Business Introducers to generate Business Banking clients and grow our brand
