Position Overview

To deliver a comprehensive and effective administrative support service for medical professionals and the broader healthcare team. This includes ensuring that all documentation is produced to a high standard, necessitating strong proofreading abilities. Administrative responsibilities encompass monitoring patient appointment schedules and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards. To organize and facilitate patient attendance for appointments in accordance with team protocols and organizational guidelines. Proficient communication skills are essential for managing correspondence, liaising with multidisciplinary teams, and handling telephone and email inquiries. To assist in the management of the schedules for medical professionals and the healthcare team. Collaborate with the team to ensure sufficient coverage during periods of absence. To maintain electronic patient records in compliance with organizational policies. Adherence to governance standards, including training and compliance with organizational policies. To support fellow administrative staff and team members in delivering a quality service.

About the Position

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our Women's Health division on a fixed-term basis as a Healthcare Administrative Coordinator.

Based at our primary site, the successful candidate will become part of an established team, providing comprehensive administrative support for our Colposcopy service.

In a dynamic and occasionally demanding environment, the candidate must be a collaborative team player who enjoys working within a multidisciplinary framework. We seek an individual who is articulate, possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Strong secretarial or administrative experience, along with organizational skills and the ability to work independently, are essential.

Given the nature of the role, which involves interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, applicants must demonstrate exceptional communication skills and maintain an empathetic and efficient telephone demeanor.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday
