Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Acute Medical Unit administration team in the capacity of Ward Administration Coordinator. This role is integral to the operations of the Acute Medical Unit, which is closely associated with the Emergency Department and General Practitioner services.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be part of a remarkable team committed to enhancing patient care during critical times. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing patient admissions and coordinating their journey through the hospital.
  • Handling referrals from both the Emergency Department and GPs.
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Utilizing your initiative to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Working Conditions
