Job Overview

We are pleased to announce a vacancy for a Band 3 Ward Administrative Coordinator within our esteemed organization. This position is part-time, requiring 15 hours of work each week.

The role is situated within a specialized ward dedicated to the care of older individuals experiencing mental health challenges, particularly those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities

The position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting the ward manager and nursing staff with administrative tasks
  • Managing supply orders and inventory
  • Inputting and maintaining patient records
  • Organizing staff documentation
  • Preparing information packs for patients
  • Handling incoming calls and visitors to the ward
  • Welcoming family members and visitors

Essential Experience

  • Strong organizational abilities

Required Qualifications

  • RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent experience
