We are seeking a motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a peripatetic ward clerk. This challenging role will provide administrative support across our busy wards, including Bramble Children's ward and Wynard Gynaecology Ward.

As a peripatetic ward clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and receptionist services to patients and visitors. You will work closely with nursing, therapy, medical, and supporting services to provide an efficient and effective service.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administration and IT skills, a flexible 'can do' attitude, and the ability to use their own initiative. You will be enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff
  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate databases
  • Respond to patient and visitor inquiries
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
