Role Details

This position will allow you to provide administrative support across our busy Orthopaedic wards.

Your role will involve working within a hospital environment while delivering effective administrative assistance within a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, diligent, and self-motivated, capable of working independently and under pressure.

You will be part of the Orthopaedic Ward administration team, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed to support clinical staff. Your responsibilities will include providing administrative, clerical, and reception services to patients and visitors in a calm, sensitive, and efficient manner, both over the phone and in person. Collaboration with nursing, therapy, medical, and support services will be essential to deliver an efficient service for patients. You should be adaptable to changing priorities and possess the ability to work effectively under pressure as a team player. Proficiency in computer skills and experience in public interaction are required.

A solid educational background, proven administrative experience, a flexible attitude, and the ability to use your initiative are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Working Hours

The position involves various shifts from Monday to Friday, with the earliest start at 07:00 and the latest finish at 17:00.
