Position Overview

In this role, reporting to the Conference & Banqueting Manager/Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up event spaces according to management directives and event specifications.
  • Delivering outstanding service experiences for our guests through meticulous attention to detail and a warm, professional demeanor.
  • Maintaining high standards of preparation, including the cleaning and polishing of silverware and glassware.
  • Participating in briefings and team meetings as necessary.
  • Complying with all Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Licensing regulations.
  • Proactively anticipating guest needs to surpass service expectations.
  • Assisting in the opening and closing procedures of all food and beverage areas, ensuring readiness for service and cleanliness at the end of each shift.
  • Performing duties across all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, bar, and member's lounge as required.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:

  • Prior experience in Conference & Banqueting, with knowledge of seating arrangements and table layouts.
  • Desirable experience in bar service.
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with a genuine passion for food and guest service.
  • A systematic work approach complemented by a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities with a flexible approach to responsibilities.
  • Professional standards of personal presentation.
