Situated along the picturesque banks of the River Thames, The Lensbury Resort is a distinguished establishment that encompasses a leisure club, a hotel with 155 rooms, versatile meeting and event spaces, a restaurant and bar, a spa, and expansive gardens spanning 25 acres.

Position Overview

As a key member of our team, reporting directly to the Conference & Banqueting Manager/Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing function rooms according to management directives and event specifications.
  • Delivering outstanding customer experiences through meticulous attention to detail and a warm, professional demeanor.
  • Maintaining high standards of mise-en-place, including the cleaning and polishing of silverware and glassware.
  • Participating in briefings and meetings as necessary.
  • Complying with all Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Licensing regulations.
  • Proactively anticipating guest needs to surpass service expectations.
  • Assisting in the opening and closing of food and beverage areas, ensuring readiness for service and cleanliness at the end of each shift.
  • Engaging in duties across all food and beverage sectors, including the restaurant, bar, and member's lounge as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:

  • Prior experience in Conference & Banqueting, with knowledge of seating arrangements and table layouts.
  • Desirable experience in bar service.
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a genuine passion for food and guest service.
  • A systematic work approach complemented by a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a flexible approach to responsibilities.
  • Professional standards of personal appearance.
