As part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort offers a picturesque setting along the River Thames, featuring a luxurious leisure club, a 155-room hotel, versatile meeting and event spaces, a restaurant and bar, a spa, and beautifully landscaped gardens spanning 25 acres.
The Role
In this position, reporting to the Conference & Banqueting Manager/Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing function rooms according to management directives and event specifications.
- Delivering outstanding service to our guests through meticulous attention to detail and a warm, professional demeanor.
- Maintaining high standards of mise-en-place, including the polishing of silverware and glassware.
- Participating in briefings and meetings as necessary.
- Complying with all Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Licensing regulations.
- Proactively anticipating guest needs to surpass customer service expectations.
- Assisting in the opening and closing procedures of all food and beverage areas, ensuring readiness for service and cleanliness at the end of each shift.
- Performing duties across all food and beverage areas, including the restaurant, bar, and member's lounge as required.

What We Are Looking For:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications, attitudes, behaviors, skills, and values:
- Prior experience in Conference & Banqueting, with knowledge of seating arrangements and table layouts.
- Desirable experience in bar service.
- Exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for food and guest service.
- A systematic approach to tasks, demonstrating a proactive 'can do' attitude.
- Outstanding customer service abilities with a flexible approach to responsibilities.
- Professional standards of personal appearance.
