The Lensbury Resort is a luxurious leisure club located on the banks of the River Thames at Teddington. As part of London + Regional Hotels, we offer an exclusive experience with a 155-bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant, bar, Spa, and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at The Dunbar, our exclusive members' only Deli. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the opening and closing of the Private Members' Lounge, ensuring areas are ready for service and cleaned down and secure at the end of each shift
  • Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with members, taking orders, and suggesting additional items to enhance their experience
  • Upsell and promote new offerings to increase sales and improve guest satisfaction
  • Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including teas, coffees, smoothies, and toasties
  • Process payments accurately and maintain a high level of cash handling security
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure consistent and high-quality products
  • Clear and clean tables regularly, maintaining a high level of presentation and cleanliness
  • Stay up-to-date on current food and drink trends and new menu items
  • Perform duties in all Food and Beverage areas, including Banqueting and Restaurant when required
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a barista or team member in a similar role is preferred
  • Proven experience in a Private Members' club is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
