Banqueting Server

We are a leading leisure club and hotel located on the banks of the River Thames at Teddington. Our exclusive club offers a range of amenities, including a spa, restaurant, and bar, as well as 25 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banqueting Waiter to join our team. As a Banqueting Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional experiences for our customers through attention to detail and a friendly and professional service.

• Set up function rooms according to the event function sheet/manager's directions
• Ensure a high quality mise-en-place, including polishing of silverware, glassware etc
• Attend briefings and meetings as required
• Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety, Hygiene and Licensing regulations.
• Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Assist with opening and closing down of all food and beverage areas, ensuring areas are ready for service, and are cleaned down at the end of each shift.
• Carry out duties in all Food & Beverage areas, including Restaurant, Bar, and Member's Lounge when required

• Previous experience in Conference & Banqueting, with an understanding of seating and table plans
• Relevant experience in bar work is desirable
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for both food and guest service
• A methodical approach to work and demonstrate a 'can do' attitude
• Excellent customer service skills with a flexible approach to duties
• Smart standards of personal presentation
