Identity and Access Management Strategist

Harrington Starr is seeking a seasoned professional to drive the governance and strategic oversight of our client's IAM and PAM systems. As a key member of the EMEA cyber security function, this role will play a critical part in ensuring the effective management of identity and access within our organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of identity and access management processes, with a proven track record of driving governance and oversight initiatives. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identity and Access Governance: Ensure that the identity and access management function delivered by service providers meets the business requirements of our organization.
  • Security Access Administration: Oversee the day-to-day provisioning, recertification, and related activities of security access administration in London, serving as a contact point for escalation across EMEA.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a security liaison with EMEA business units to actively seek out improvement opportunities in areas of identity and access management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Support the governance, regulatory, and compliance function within the security team to provide timely responses to any matters concerning regulatory or audit requests.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong understanding of identity and access management processes from both a business and IT perspective.
  • Significant functional and industry-specific experience with a strong understanding of identity and access management processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with diverse teams in other regions.
  • Good experience in data analysis and MS Office suite applications, as well as access management platforms.
