Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Systemic Family Therapist to join our dynamic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents facing behavioral and conduct challenges.

Key Responsibilities

In this leadership position, you will:

  1. Lead the implementation of systemic therapeutic interventions in line with established care pathways and NICE guidelines.
  2. Conduct comprehensive assessments of complex referrals to develop tailored treatment plans for children and adolescents.
  3. Facilitate multi-family therapy sessions and systemic clinics, providing a range of evidence-based interventions.
  4. Offer training, consultation, and supervision to fellow professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
  5. Ensure the delivery of timely and accessible services to all clients, adhering to best practices in mental health care.
  6. Engage with diverse communities to enhance service delivery and improve local mental health outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A postgraduate qualification in systemic family therapy, with registration from the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
  • A minimum of four years of demonstrable experience in a relevant mental health or social welfare profession.
  • Expertise in conducting psychological assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions across various settings.
