About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Psychological Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment to a diverse range of clients across various care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological therapies to address a wide spectrum of mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment across diverse care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care, and inpatient environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK legislation pertaining to health and welfare services for children and adolescents, as well as mental health regulations.
  • Mastery of complex psychological assessment methods, intervention techniques, and management strategies.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in teaching and training within a healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to lead workshops or group therapy sessions.
  • Experience in service development or holding a leadership role within a mental health organization.
  • Background in conducting research related to psychological therapies and interventions.
