About the Opportunity

This is an exciting role within NELFT North East London Foundation Trust, offering a chance to be part of a major national initiative providing innovative psychological treatments in the NHS. As a High Intensity CBT Therapist, you will contribute to a multi-professional workforce, significantly increasing access to treatment for people with depression, anxiety, and other common mental health conditions in a Primary Care setting.

We are seeking motivated staff to support our expanding Waltham Forest Talking Therapies Service, providing assessments and CBT interventions to individuals and groups. You will work remotely and on-site, using advanced CBT approaches and other specialist therapeutic interventions as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and formulate treatment plans based on sound theoretical knowledge and good practice.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions with a variety of clients, using a range of specialist therapeutic approaches, with a particular emphasis on advanced CBT.
  • Participate in a multi-professional workforce, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve service goals.
