Clinical Lead

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Clinical Lead to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Barking & Dagenham.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading and driving the service forward, working with key stakeholders across Health, Social Care, and Education to deliver a seamless service. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our Autism service and drive excellence and research in the field of paediatric autism in collaboration with the University of Cambridge.
Key Duties- Provide clinical leadership for the CAMHS Services portfolio and pathways across Barking and Dagenham
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical performance and management
- Lead and manage service development and Quality Improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with teams, colleagues, and peers to deliver directorate and system-wide improvement
- Qualified psychological practitioner (e.g. psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist, cognitive behavioural therapist) fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body
- Strategic understanding and excellent communication skills to develop effective relationships with key partners
- Extensive clinical and operational leadership experience across CAMHS
A competitive salary of £74,290 to £85,601 per annum, plus HCAS per annum, and the opportunity to work with a leading healthcare organisation in the NHS.
