About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Systemic Family Therapist and Behavioural Conduct Pathway Lead to join our multidisciplinary team in Barking and Dagenham Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist systemic interventions, assessments, and treatments for children and young people with mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development and implementation of systemic family therapy assessments and interventions in accordance with care pathways and NICE guidance.
  2. Provide specialist systemic assessments, facilitate multi-family groups, and systemic family therapy clinics.
  3. Develop and deliver consultation, training, and supervision to other professionals working with children and young people.
  4. Ensure the delivery of a high-quality, timely, accessible, and evidence-based service to all service users.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a post-graduate qualified systemic family therapist registered with the UKCP, with a minimum of four years' experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
