Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and compassionate individual to provide administrative support to our Adult ADHD Service. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of a complex pathway for patients seeking treatment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to Consultants, Doctors, and Nurses involved in the Adult ADHD pathway.
  • Effectively manage patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate appointments and schedule meetings, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, service users, and healthcare professionals, providing clear and concise information.

Requirements

Education/Qualifications

  • GCSE standard or NVQ3 or equivalent
  • Proficient in Written and Spoken English

Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, including document creation and editing.
  • Typing speed of 60-70 wpm for efficient data entry.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience/Knowledge

  • Understanding of Equal Opportunities principles and commitment to inclusivity.
  • Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality regulations.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures within a healthcare setting.
