Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our Adult Enablement Unit team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing practical and emotional support to adults with complex mental health and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients to access and engage in their local community
  • Accompany clients to appointments, on walks, activity programs, and other activities
  • Administer medication and support medication management
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning
  • Enhance clients' living skills and independence
  • Provide an evening meal from a set menu
  • Crisis planning and care planning

Requirements

  • Experience of working with adults with complex mental health and learning disabilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Compassion, empathy, and a willingness to help others
