Data Center Operations Manager, EMEA

About the Role
Vantage Data Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobilisation Lead to join our Infrastructure Operations EMEA team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing processes, procedures, and documentation that support the mobilisation team, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Development: Create and refine processes to support the seamless transition of data centers from development to operations.
- Procedure Management: Develop and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across mobilisation activities.
- Documentation Oversight: Review, compile, and manage all technical documentation required for operational teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to facilitate strong communication and collaboration during the mobilisation process.
- Training and Support: Train and support the mobilisation team on established processes and procedures to ensure adherence and understanding.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within current processes and procedures, implementing changes as necessary to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Experience: Preferably 5+ years of experience in Process Development, Documentation Management, Complex Development, Construction, or Delivery Project Management.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all processes and documentation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Travel: Travel required is expected to be between 10%-20% but may change over time as the business evolves.
