Director & Senior Corporate Counsel, Compliance - EMEA

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director & Senior Corporate Counsel to lead our compliance program in the EMEA region. This role involves collaborating closely with business leaders across EMEA on ethics and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive decision-making abilities, effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, and cultivate strong relationships within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations governing our operations in EMEA.
  • Maintain and enhance Vantage's ethics and compliance framework, including policy drafting and review, to prevent misconduct while aligning with business objectives and promoting ethical conduct across all levels of the organization.
  • Conduct thorough compliance risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and address emerging challenges within the EMEA region.
  • Implement robust global anti-bribery and anti-corruption measures to mitigate risks and ensure ethical business practices throughout our operations in EMEA.
  • Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to our EMEA operations, proactively updating policies and procedures to maintain compliance with evolving legal requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance matters across various operational areas within the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.
  • Support ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), D&I (Diversity & Inclusion), and corporate sustainability efforts within the EMEA region, promoting responsible business practices and ethical conduct.
  • Enhance compliance system tools, including whistleblower hotlines and case management systems, to facilitate reporting, investigation, and resolution of potential compliance issues in EMEA.
  • Ensure employee awareness and adherence to compliance policies through targeted training programs and effective communication channels within the EMEA region.
  • Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies and corrective action plans to address identified compliance gaps and vulnerabilities within the EMEA region.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across various departments to integrate risk management principles into operational processes within the EMEA region.
  • Manage internal investigations related to potential compliance breaches in the EMEA region, conducting thorough assessments and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
  • Present clear and concise compliance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement within the EMEA region.
