About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Finance Administrator to join our team at Flat Fee Recruiter. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of our client's payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls with precision and attention to detail.
  • Verify weekly timesheets and work planners to ensure accuracy.
  • Submit HMRC reports in a timely manner.
  • Perform payroll month-end reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including new starters, leavers, and statutory sick pay.
  • Assist and resolve payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage internal holiday planners and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Process pension submissions and administration.
  • Ensure adherence to payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Generate employee reports for financial controllers.
  • Process sub-contractor invoices and produce weekly payment reports.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience with SAGE Payroll and Payroll Manager.
