About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Finance Administrator to join our team at Flat Fee Recruiter. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of our client's payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly and monthly payrolls with precision and accuracy.
  • Verify weekly timesheets and work planners to ensure compliance.
  • Submit HMRC reports in a timely manner.
  • Perform payroll month-end reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Manage and update employee records, including new starters, leavers, and statutory sick pay.
  • Respond to payroll queries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain an internal holiday planner to ensure seamless employee management.
  • Process pension submissions and administration.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and industry standards.
  • Generate employee reports for financial controllers.
  • Process sub-contractor invoices and produce weekly payment reports.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in SAGE Payroll and Payroll Manager software.
