Job Summary:

Pertemps Warrington is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Shipping, Receiving & Stores team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Processing Inbound Deliveries: Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verify quantities and quality, and update inventory records.
  • Preparing and Shipping Outbound Deliveries: Final inspect and check outbound shipments, prepare shipping documents, and coordinate with couriers.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock control duties, including counting and reconciling inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Picking and Packing: Select and pack goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Forklift Operations: Operate a forklift truck to move goods within the warehouse, with training provided.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain shipment and customs documentation, and assist with international trade compliance.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Liaise with internal teams, couriers, and customers to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Must have previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Technical Skills: Highly computer literate, with proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize workload, and a keen willingness to learn.
