Position Overview

As a key member of the agile procurement team at GTS International, you will report directly to the Head of Procurement. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a diverse range of highly specialized components and their associated supply chains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily supplier management operations, identifying potential risks and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Manage multiple suppliers across designated commodities, delivering highly specialized components and assemblies to the organization.
  • Plan, negotiate, and procure direct materials essential for business operations.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Procurement and project teams, taking charge of all facets of the procurement process for various projects.
  • Develop and maintain procurement strategies for selected commodities.
  • Engage in commercial negotiations, including supply agreements, cost reduction initiatives, and quotation analysis.
  • Document detailed data through ERP systems and maintain comprehensive build documentation.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications to support departmental reporting and contribute to innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the business.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of the procurement team and the purchase-to-pay processes.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement.
  • Extensive experience in supplier management, preferably within the automotive or motorsport sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges from first principles.
  • A proactive and flexible mindset, capable of adapting to dynamic environments.
  • Self-motivation and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
