Job Title: Senior Commercial Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Procurement Specialist to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing and developing strong working relationships with key account customers, negotiating product and pricing, and ensuring the procurement of energy and utilities is carried out in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key account customers, building strong relationships and ensuring their procurement needs are met.
  • Negotiate product and pricing with suppliers, ensuring the best value for money solutions are sourced.
  • Procure energy and utilities in a cost-effective and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide expert knowledge of cost elements that make up a supply contract, including flexible energy contracts for gas and electricity.
  • Keep abreast of industry regulatory changes and ensure relevant systems and databases are up to date with high-quality information.
  • Produce numerical and written analysis of tender bid responses, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Existing CIPs (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply qualification (or above) would be desired, however not essential.
  • Minimum of at least two A-levels (or international equivalent) or a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate qualification.
