Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at Tean Surgery. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Greet and direct patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth experience for all visitors.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information and medical history.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
    • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Technology
    • Utilize our electronic medical record system to manage patient data and communicate with healthcare professionals.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and communications.
  • General Duties
    • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of our practice.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the front desk and surrounding areas.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. healthcare administration, business administration) an asset.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare administration role.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and other software applications.
