Job Title: Lung Cancer Service Audit Officer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Transformation Unit as a Lung Cancer Service Audit Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating, collating, and inputting data related to the cancer outcomes and services dataset (COSD) for the lung cancer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Take the lead in the coordination, collation, and inputting of data in relation to the COSD for the lung cancer service.
  • Monitor, cleanse, and validate data stored within our systems to maximize submission to mandatory datasets, including COSD and national cancer audits.
  • Support local audit processes that inform service development.

**Requirements:**

  • Good all-round education (i.e., 2 GCSEs at equivalent of grade 4/C or above, including English & Maths), or equivalent demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • NVQ level 4 in administration or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience.
  • Experience in a role involving analysis, investigation, and resolution of complex statistical/analytical queries.
  • Previous experience in clinical audit, data entry, or quality role.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to clearly and accurately convey information both written and verbally to different audiences.
