As we expand our Lung Cancer Administration team, the successful applicant will have the chance to engage in HR-related functions, provide support, and mentor new team members while pursuing their own professional growth.

Training & Qualifications

Essential

  • NVQ in Administration Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Educated to GCSE standard with passes at grade C or above in English and Maths or similar through vocational training.

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within an NHS Trust.
  • Familiarity with waiting list management and application of access policies within the NHS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word and Excel) and Patient Administration Systems (Medway and Notis).

  • Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Communication and Relationship Skills

  • Ability to convey information clearly and accurately, both in writing and verbally, to diverse audiences including patients, GPs, managers, administrative colleagues, and clinicians.
