About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Administration Officer to join our team at GenesisCare UK. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cancer care centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process patient referrals and appointments efficiently, in accordance with GenesisCare policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer care to patients and visitors, ensuring a professional and efficient service.
  • Work closely with consultants and secretaries to support the patient referral pathway.
  • Confirm receipt of referrals and registration for all patients referred for Radiotherapy and Outpatient clinics.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience managing a busy reception area.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within a diverse range of administrative roles.
  • Evidence of an empathetic and holistic approach to patient care.
  • Experience with resolving complaints satisfactorily.

Preferred Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Experience of using MOSAIQ IT package.
  • Proficiency in all MS office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous work experience within the healthcare sector.
