Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust for an Administrative Support Officer. We are looking for motivated and skilled individuals to deliver administrative and reception assistance for our dynamic breast screening unit.
The role will involve working up to hours per week across three days. Responsibilities will be carried out at designated facilities.
Key Responsibilities
The position requires collaboration within a team to accomplish daily tasks and general responsibilities, which include preparing clinics, scheduling and modifying appointments, maintaining filing systems, and managing phone communications.
Additionally, the role entails providing coverage for the reception area at various locations.
Strong communication abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks in response to shifting demands are essential. The ability to work independently is also crucial.

Job Duties
The ideal candidate should possess computer proficiency, experience with electronic communication tools, and confidence in face-to-face interactions with patients and visitors. They will serve as a primary contact for patients and act as a resource for staff and visitors. Familiarity with hospital systems is advantageous, although training will be provided.
Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum GCSE level education in mathematics and English, Grade C or above
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration/Reception or equivalent experience

- Experience in a breast screening or similar environment
