Market Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team at GRS Group as a Commercial Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced business environment with a focus on commercial growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the market, with a primary focus on the Sizewell C project.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, and project owners to win work and secure larger projects.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve budgeted volumes and profitability.
- Work closely with the local supply chain to ensure excellent service delivery to customers.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for operational solutions and cost savings.
- Manage and maintain existing commercial relationships within the sector.
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs and changes, driving operational efficiencies.
- Manage customer feedback and ensure delivery against area budget targets.
- Report and present commercial plans to divisional MDs and participate in commercial and strategy team meetings.
- Commercial experience within the Aggregate and Waste market.
- Good understanding of the infrastructure market and ability to identify business development opportunities.
- Strong consultative approach, with the ability to identify customer needs and requirements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to pre-empt and solve problems.
- Strong negotiation skills.
