Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Commercial Development Manager to play a pivotal role in expanding our presence within the Sizewell C project. This exciting opportunity will involve building strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and driving profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on the Sizewell C project, including identifying target contractors and subcontractors.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Proactively prospect for new opportunities within the infrastructure market, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IS contracting and Soil Science divisions, to identify cross-divisional opportunities and create comprehensive customer solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
- Manage existing commercial relationships within the sector, fostering long-term partnerships and driving customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, identifying emerging opportunities and potential threats.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to senior management, providing insights into market dynamics and business performance.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial development within the aggregates and waste industry.
- Strong understanding of the infrastructure market and technical capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
