Position Overview

Nebula Physio and Wellbeing Ltd is seeking a qualified and seasoned MSK physiotherapist to fulfill a temporary role during a maternity leave period. The successful candidate will be engaged in delivering high-quality outpatient physiotherapy services. This role requires a strong clinical foundation, exceptional manual therapy skills, and proficiency in acupuncture.

At Nebula Physio and Wellbeing, we emphasize a holistic approach to treatment, integrating emotional wellbeing support into physiotherapy practices. The role involves independent work within a clinic setting, while still receiving guidance from a senior physiotherapist. Flexibility in working hours is a key feature of this position, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Opportunities exist for weekday, evening, and weekend hours, although candidates who prefer standard weekday hours are also encouraged to apply.

This position is offered as a fixed-term contract, with potential for continued employment after the maternity leave period concludes.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from £20 per hour to £23.50 per hour.

Qualifications Required:

  • A relevant degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • At least 1 year of experience in the UK healthcare system
  • A minimum of 3 years in an MSK outpatient environment
  • Acupuncture certification, such as AACP membership or equivalent
  • Experience managing persistent pain conditions
  • Strong time management and communication abilities
  • Empathetic and motivational demeanor
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in Pilates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to establish clinical diagnoses and develop treatment plans for a diverse MSK caseload using evidence-based practices.
  • Manage a variety of MSK conditions, including chronic pain.
  • Effectively oversee personal patient caseloads.
  • Document treatment plans and maintain records in accordance with HCPC standards.
  • Assume professional and legal responsibility for all clinical work.
  • Ensure continuous professional development aligns with industry standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as client communication, appointment scheduling, insurance billing, inventory management, and business promotion (training provided).
