We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Therapy Lead to join our Early Intervention Team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital admissions.
- Lead and manage a team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, providing clinical supervision and mentorship to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient pathways and care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders to ensure best practice in therapy services.

Our Early Intervention Team is a proactive and innovative multidisciplinary team that provides a proactive Admission Avoidance service, including Frailty screening and comprehensive geriatric assessments for patients admitted to the Emergency Department.
Requirements- Registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with extensive post-registration experience working in an acute hospital setting.
- Post-registration experience in other relevant specialties, including Orthopaedics, Medical, Respiratory, Frailty, and Neurology.
- Competency and experience in working within a transdisciplinary environment and leading teams.
- Experience working in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
