Lead MSK Physiotherapist

Nebula Physio and Wellbeing Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to fill a temporary position. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality outpatient physiotherapy services. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent manual therapy skills, and effective interpersonal abilities, along with a qualification in acupuncture.

Nebula Physio and Wellbeing is dedicated to fostering a holistic approach to treatment, integrating emotional wellbeing support into physiotherapy practices. The selected physiotherapist will be expected to provide comprehensive care that addresses both physical and emotional health.
Work Environment
This position involves independent practice within a clinical setting, with support available from a senior physiotherapist. The role offers considerable flexibility in scheduling, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Opportunities for weekday, evening, and weekend hours are available, although candidates may apply for standard weekday hours only.
Contract Details
This is a fixed-term employment opportunity, with the potential for continued employment following the completion of the maternity leave cover.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from £20 per hour (£39,000 per year pro rata) to £23.50 per hour (£45,825 per year pro rata).
Qualifications Required
To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess the following:
- A relevant degree or qualification in Physiotherapy
- HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist
- Authorization to work in the UK
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the UK healthcare system
- At least 3 years of experience in an MSK outpatient environment
- An acupuncture qualification, such as a foundation course or membership with AACP or equivalent
- Experience in managing persistent pain conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- An empathetic and motivational demeanor
- Full vaccination against COVID-19
Desirable Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills are advantageous:
- Experience in Pilates
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting physiotherapy assessments to establish clinical diagnoses and develop treatment plans for a diverse MSK caseload, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Managing clients with a variety of MSK conditions, including chronic pain
- Effectively managing an individual caseload of patients
- Creating treatment plans and maintaining physiotherapy records in accordance with HCPC regulations
- Being professionally and legally accountable for all work performed
- Ensuring ongoing professional development in line with industry standards
- Performing administrative tasks related to business operations, including client communication, appointment scheduling, insurance billing, inventory management, and promotional activities (training will be provided for these duties).
