About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Physiotherapist within our Specialist Respiratory Rotation, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients in various clinical areas, including Intensive Care, Neuro Critical Care, and Respiratory wards.
  • Participate in the rotational scheme, working in different clinical areas for 7 months at a time.
  • Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy plans to meet the needs of patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • State Registration
  • Evidence of relevant postgraduate level education or CPD
  • Broad rotational experience as a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist
  • Experience in the management and rehabilitation of patients requiring respiratory care
  • Experience of tracheostomy management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
