Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Respiratory Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking advanced assessment, treatment, monitoring, and evaluation of complex respiratory caseloads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of the respiratory team to undertake advanced assessment, treatment, monitoring, and evaluation of complex respiratory caseloads.
  • Manage advanced respiratory disease through the promotion of self-management and coping skills, exacerbation management, oxygen assessment, and monitoring.
  • Develop links with patients and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient pathways are robust and fit for purpose.
  • Manage the staff in the team and work collaboratively with other team leads to ensure countywide service provision.
  • Implement National and local policy directives in conjunction with clinical lead.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) working.
  • Provide specialist advice and education to colleagues and other members of the MDT.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the local respiratory team, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide support and encourage development of staff.
Requirements
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Have use of a vehicle.
  • Be able to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines.
