We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead our Cardiothoracic Surgery and Respiratory Medicine teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Cardiothoracic Surgery and Respiratory Medicine teams, providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital admissions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Provide education and training to nursing and medical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical services, including the design and implementation of new care pathways and protocols.
- Valid NMC registration.
- Currently practising as an advanced practitioner at Band 7 or above.
- Evidence of continued professional development to postgraduate level.
- Master's degree level in a relevant field.
- Experience and training in staff development, coaching, supervision, and teaching.
- Possession of a non-medical prescriber's qualification.
- Flexible approach to working hours and practices to meet changing service demand.
