About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead our Cardiothoracic Surgery teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing deteriorating patients and providing continuity of care to our patients from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ALERT team in managing deteriorating patients across the trust
  • Provide continuity and experience in managing elective and non-elective cardiothoracic surgical patients
  • Facilitate daily ward rounds and ensure timely discharge for our patients
  • Contribute to audit and research projects
Requirements
  • Valid NMC registration
  • Currently practicing as an advanced practitioner at Band 7 or above
  • Evidence of continued professional development to postgraduate level
  • Master's degree level in a relevant field
