Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Ophthalmology Clinical Lead

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Ophthalmology team as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and management to the Ophthalmology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, service efficiency, and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage change initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current and relevant NMC registration.
  • First-level registered nurse with significant experience in managing a ward/unit.
  • Teaching and assessing qualification, degree in health-related subject, and evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Management training, evidence of masters-level study, and recent attendance on leadership program.
  • Ophthalmology experience and research experience.
