Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled healthcare professional to join our Community Respiratory Service as a Band community respiratory nurse. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist respiratory focused care and advice to patients with chronic respiratory disease across Cambridgeshire.

Main Duties
  • Manage a caseload of patients with complex respiratory needs, using evidence-based practice and patient-centered goals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
  • Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner with access to advice and support from senior colleagues.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) working and provide specialist advice, support, and education to clinicians.
Requirements

The successful candidate must be capable of working autonomously and collaboratively with other services across the CPFT and other stakeholders to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of patients with chronic respiratory disease.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have respiratory and/or community experience, however, training and support is available for candidates with the potential to develop.
