Position Overview

Nebula Physio and Wellbeing Ltd is seeking a qualified and skilled MSK physiotherapist to fill a temporary position. The successful candidate will serve as a senior physiotherapist, delivering exceptional outpatient physiotherapy services. The ideal applicant should possess strong clinical skills, effective manual therapy techniques, and excellent interpersonal abilities, along with a qualification in acupuncture.

Nebula Physio and Wellbeing is dedicated to fostering a holistic approach to health, emphasizing the integration of emotional wellbeing into physiotherapy practices. The role requires the post holder to be adept at providing emotional support as part of their treatment plans.

This position entails working independently within a clinical environment, with the backing of a senior physiotherapist. The role offers considerable flexibility in scheduling to support a healthy work-life balance. Available hours include weekdays, evenings, and weekends; however, applicants who prefer standard weekday hours are also encouraged to apply.

This is a fixed-term contract, with potential opportunities for continued employment following the completion of the maternity leave cover.

Compensation is based on experience, ranging from £20 per hour (£39,000 per year pro rata) to £23.50 per hour (£45,825 per year pro rata).

To qualify for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A relevant degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Authorization to work in the UK
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the UK healthcare system
  • At least 3 years of experience in an MSK outpatient setting
  • An acupuncture qualification, such as a foundation course or membership with AACP or equivalent (candidates willing to undertake acupuncture training prior to employment are encouraged to inquire)
  • Experience in managing persistent pain conditions
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • An empathetic and motivating demeanor
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19

Preferred (but not mandatory) qualifications include:

  • Experience in Pilates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently conduct physiotherapy assessments to establish clinical diagnoses and provide treatments for a personal MSK caseload using evidence-based practices.
  • Manage a diverse range of clients with various MSK conditions, including chronic pain.
  • Effectively and efficiently oversee a personal patient caseload.
  • Develop treatment plans and maintain physiotherapy records in accordance with HCPC regulations.
  • Assume professional and legal responsibility for personal work.
  • Ensure continued professional development aligns with industry standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to business operations, such as responding to client inquiries, managing appointments, billing insurance providers, inventory management, and promoting the business (training will be provided for these duties).
