Student Wellbeing Manager

Victoria College of Arts and Design is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Wellbeing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Student Services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing and success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the Wellbeing department to all partners and stakeholders
  • Manage a cross-campus team responsible for wellbeing and welfare services
  • Provide high-quality support to students, addressing wellbeing issues and signposting to external resources as needed
  • Ensure students have an excellent experience at VCAD through quality support and prioritizing wellbeing and safeguarding
  • Collaborate with Academic managers to ensure efficient wellbeing support and meet the needs of all students
  • Arrange and deliver wellbeing workshops, webinars, and awareness-raising events
  • Develop and implement clear policies and procedures for risk assessment, support, and referral to external bodies
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with colleagues across the University to support service delivery and issue resolution
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology or related subjects
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Team management skills and ability to work with diverse students
  • Evidence of risk assessments and crisis management
  • Private medical insurance with BUPA
