Location: Slough

Contract: 6 months Maternity cover, Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week

Salary: £43,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience (pro rata)

Start Date: ASAP

Our client, a prominent manufacturer in the Paint and Coatings sector, is seeking a dynamic Shopper Marketing Brand Manager. Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship in paint and coatings, they offer a world-class portfolio of brands that are trusted globally.

The Shopper Marketing Brand Manager will be responsible for developing the shopper marketing channel and customer strategies, as well as creating and implementing effective 'path to purchase' marketing initiatives, both in physical and digital realms. This role will support the Senior Shopper Brand Manager in planning and executing key activities across all customers and relevant brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Shopper Marketing strategy for the designated channel/customer.
  • Collaborate with Category, Brand, and Commercial teams to create and implement tailored channel and customer plans aimed at driving market share and sales growth.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and assess the return on investment for various activities.
  • Oversee the daily operations of shopper agencies for key initiatives.
  • Act as the customer advocate within the organization, understanding their needs and aligning strategies to jointly enhance sales.
  • Work with both internal and external partners to produce and implement engaging physical and digital content that meets customer and brand objectives.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Brand, Communications, Category, and Sales teams, as well as Trade Customer Marketing.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with exceptional verbal communication and presentation abilities, capable of addressing both small and large audiences. They should possess proven project management and analytical skills, along with the ability to influence across a diverse organizational network. A strong creative judgment and experience collaborating with creative agencies across various channels, both in-store and online, are essential.

  • Preferably holds a BA/BSc degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in Marketing/Sales across multiple categories and/or brands, particularly in shopper marketing.
  • Familiarity with working within a matrix organizational structure.
  • Experience in developing and executing 'path to purchase' shopper marketing strategies.
