Introduction

As leaders in color expertise and product innovation, we are currently seeking a Brand Manager within the Customer Marketing function to develop channel and customer marketing strategies for our professional brands, including Dulux Trade and Armstead, and to create and implement effective 'path to purchase' marketing initiatives. Brand Manager – The Role


• Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive shopper activation strategies that align with overarching business goals and marketing plans.

• Campaign Management: Spearhead the creation, implementation, and assessment of shopper activation campaigns, including in-store promotions, digital engagement, and experiential marketing.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, product development, merchandising, and external partners to ensure cohesive and effective shopper activation initiatives.

• Market Research: Conduct research on market and shopper insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement.

• Budget Management: Oversee budgets for shopper activation programs, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization while achieving desired outcomes.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of shopper activation activities, utilizing key metrics and data to refine future campaigns.

• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure high-quality execution of activation initiatives.

• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on shopper activation performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Brand Manager – About You

• Experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or a related role within the retail or FMCG sector.

• Strong understanding of shopper behavior, retail environments, and marketing principles.

• Proven track record in developing and executing successful shopper activation campaigns.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong analytical abilities and experience with performance metrics and data analysis.

• Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing software.
