Brand Manager for Shopper Marketing

Position: Shopper Marketing Brand Manager
Location: Slough
Contract: 6 months Maternity cover, Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week
Salary: £43,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience (pro rata)

Our client, a prominent manufacturer in the Paint and Coatings sector, is seeking a Shopper Marketing Brand Manager. Renowned for their craftsmanship in producing high-quality paints and coatings, their diverse portfolio of brands is recognized and trusted by customers worldwide.
The Shopper Marketing Brand Manager will be responsible for developing the shopper marketing channel and customer strategies, crafting and implementing effective 'path to purchase' marketing initiatives, both in physical and digital formats, tailored to their specific channel. This role will also involve collaborating with the Senior Shopper Brand Manager to plan and execute key marketing activities across all customers and brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Shopper Marketing strategy for the designated channel/customer.
- Collaborate with Category, Brand, and Commercial teams to create and implement channel and customer plans aimed at enhancing market share and driving sales growth.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and assess the return on investment for various activities.
- Oversee the daily operations of shopper agencies involved in lead activities.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, understanding their shopper insights and business strategies to foster collaboration and drive sales.
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders to produce and implement engaging physical and digital content that meets customer and brand needs.
- Establish strong cross-functional relationships with Brand, Communications, Category, and Sales teams, as well as Trade Customer Marketing when applicable.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with exceptional verbal communication and presentation abilities, capable of addressing both small and large audiences. They should possess proven project management and analytical skills, along with the ability to influence a wide network within the organization. A good sense of creativity and experience working with creative agencies across various channels, both in-store and online, is essential.
- Preferably educated to BA/BSc degree level or equivalent.
- Experience in Marketing/Sales across multiple categories and/or brands, particularly in shopper marketing.
- Familiarity with working in a matrix organizational structure.
- Experience in developing and executing 'path to purchase' shopper marketing plans.
