We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Regional Fitness Operations Manager to lead the member experience across various facilities. In this essential position, you will curate and oversee a comprehensive schedule of over 100 fitness classes, ensuring that our programs maintain exceptional quality and member satisfaction. You will motivate and guide a diverse team of fitness professionals and instructors, creating an encouraging and inspiring atmosphere. Your dedication to supporting our members and driving membership growth will be vital to our ongoing success.

This role is perfect for individuals with significant experience in the Leisure or Health and Fitness sectors, who possess a proven ability to manage large teams and are eager to expand their expertise and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and customer service excellence.
  • Possess a minimum of three years of experience in a fitness environment.
  • Show expertise in sales, target development, and marketing strategy implementation.
  • Maintain a high awareness of industry trends, new activities, and research.
  • Exhibit good commercial acumen that contributes to a successful and financially sustainable operation.
  • Demonstrate a passion for the industry through ongoing professional development.
  • Utilize well-developed interpersonal skills to negotiate and persuade stakeholders.
  • Adopt a team-oriented approach, collaborating across organizational boundaries.
  • Be mobile and willing to travel between sites.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Manage time effectively, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Be a self-starter who inspires others with enthusiasm and energy.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Education at degree level or equivalent.
  • GP Referral qualification.
  • A relevant higher professional qualification in leisure or fitness.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Defibrillation training.
  • Experience in identifying staff training needs and implementing development opportunities.
  • A talent for recognizing and nurturing potential in others.
  • Proficient computer skills and understanding.
  • Ability to work flexibly with a good level of autonomy.
