Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to enhance organizational effectiveness and customer service.
  • Manage a fitness facility with at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new activities, and research.
  • Exhibit strong commercial awareness to ensure a successful and financially sustainable operation.
  • Show a commitment to continuous professional development in the fitness industry.
  • Possess well-developed interpersonal skills to negotiate and persuade effectively.
  • Adopt a team-oriented approach, collaborating across organizational boundaries.
  • Be willing to travel between various sites as needed.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Be a self-starter who inspires others with enthusiasm and energy.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • GP Referral qualification.
  • Relevant higher professional qualification in leisure or fitness.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Defibrillation training.
  • Experience in identifying staff training needs and facilitating development opportunities.
  • Aptitude for recognizing and nurturing talent.
  • Proficient computer skills and understanding.
  • Ability to work flexibly with a good level of autonomy.
