About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Area Fitness Manager to oversee the ultimate member journey across multiple locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for curating and managing a diverse timetable of over 100 fitness classes, ensuring that our offerings meet the highest standards of quality and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a talented team of fitness professionals and instructors, fostering a positive and motivating environment.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive membership growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for members.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme performance, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Strong people management skills, with experience of leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade both internally and externally.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and revenue through effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Experience of managing budgets and resources, with a focus on delivering high-quality services.
  • Ability to work flexibly, with a good level of autonomy and a willingness to travel across sites.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Education to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a relevant field such as leisure or fitness.
  • Relevant higher professional qualification in leisure or fitness, such as a diploma or degree.
  • First Aid at Work certification, with a willingness to obtain Defibrillation certification.
